Questions, answered
If yours isn't here, write to hello@loomcraftgoods.com — a person reads it, usually Mara.
How long does shipping take?
Most in-stock orders ship within two to three business days and arrive within five to seven business days via ground shipping within the continental United States. Made-to-order pieces, including custom commissions and some Maker Series items, list their own lead time on the product page, usually two to four weeks.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on unused, unwashed items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to your original payment method. Custom commissions and final-sale Maker Series pieces marked as such at checkout are not eligible for return, though our repairs program still covers them if something goes wrong.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes. Add gift wrapping at checkout for a small fee and we'll wrap your order in unbleached cotton cloth secured with waxed twine, along with a handwritten note if you leave one for us. We skip paper wrap entirely in favor of a cloth wrap you can reuse.
Do you sell wholesale?
We work with a small number of shops that align with our values around small-batch, handmade goods. Email us at wholesale@loomcraftgoods.com with your store details and we'll send our current line sheet and minimum order requirements. We keep our wholesale accounts limited so we can maintain the production pace our partners set.
Can I commission a custom piece?
We take a limited number of custom commissions each season, mostly for larger textiles like wall hangings and bedding-scale throws in a specific size or dye. Reach out through our contact form with your idea and we'll let you know current lead times and whether it's something Mara or our Asheville partners can take on.
Why does the color of my order not match the photo exactly?
Because our dyes are all natural, indigo, madder, weld, and iron, color varies somewhat from one dye lot to the next depending on the season the plants were harvested and how the vat or dye pot was running that day. We photograph representative pieces from each batch, but we can't guarantee an exact match to any single photo, and we consider that variation part of the material rather than a flaw.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to most countries through our website, with rates and delivery estimates calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. International orders may be subject to customs duties or import taxes on arrival, which are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping charge.
What is the Loomcraft repairs program?
Any handwoven textile, ceramic piece, or wooden board we've sold can come back to us for repair, a rewoven hem, a reglazed chip, an oiled and resurfaced board, for as long as we're able to fix it. Contact us with a photo of the damage and we'll quote a repair cost, which is often modest and sometimes free for minor fixes within the first year.
